The Esperanza Art Studio provides a nurturing space for adults with developmental disabilities to grow artistically and emotionally. We create opportunities for exhibition and sales while helping to shift public perceptions of people with disabilities. Classes are taught by one art facilitator and often one art intern from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Artists work with a variety of professional, quality materials for drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, sculpture, and fiber art.
